The Preuss's red colobus (Piliocolobus preussi) is a primate species with only two remaining populations found in the in Korup National Park (Cameroon) extending to the adjacent Cross River National Park (Nigeria), and in the Ebo Forest (Cameroon). It is critically endangered (IUCN Red List) and is threatened by hunting and habitat loss. In Cameroon, the government is planning to create two logging concessions in the Ebo forest which was proposed to be erected as a national park to protected the very rich biodiversity it habours, including P. preussi.
