"Red colobus monkeys are the most endangered group of primates in Africa. Habitat destruction over much their range and intense hunting pressure on most species has brought several to the verge of extinction, with one, Miss Waldron’s red colobus, perhaps already gone. This Action Plan brings together the leading specialists, and the great knowledge they have acquired over decades of research, to deliver a strategy to ensure the survival of these very important animals."
